Wir können Kohlenstoff-Nanohoops mit atomarer Präzision herstellen (was für Kohlenstoffnanoröhren noch nicht möglich ist), sodass wir durch das Aneinanderreihen von Kohlenstoff-Nanohoops auf verschiedene Weise viel Kontrolle über die Struktur und Eigenschaften der Endmaterialien haben.
